Empowering university students and freelancers in Gaza Strip with workspaces, internet access, and educational opportunities during challenging times.
A group of young volunteers who truly believe that education is the first step toward healing from the effects of war, and that the young generation is always capable of making a difference, and can help in rebuilding nations.
Wahat (Oases) is a youth-led charitable initiative born out as a result of the daily struggle faced by the people of Gaza; students and freelancers alike. It was initiated in response to their struggles and urgent needs, aiming to ease their path and help them overcome the many challenges caused by the blockade, constant power outages, and the fragile educational infrastructure.
The interruption of university students' education, along with the loss of online jobs and freelance opportunities for young Gazans due to internet and electricity problems.
We provide comprehensive support to help students continue their education and freelancers maintain their livelihoods despite challenging circumstances.
Providing quiet workspaces and study environments with reliable internet using solar power.
Offering free subscriptions for university students to prestigious e-learning platforms such as EDX, Coursera, and DataCamp.
Offering seats for university students during their final exams in a conducive environment.
Organizing training courses and workshops for freelancers to enhance their skills and integrate them into the global job market.
Assessing freelancers' skills then connecting them with companies and relevant employers.
Providing a dynamic work environment that enables freelancers to share expertise and build lasting business relationships.
