Supporting Gaza's Future

Empowering university students and freelancers in Gaza Strip with workspaces, internet access, and educational opportunities during challenging times.

Who Are We?

A group of young volunteers who truly believe that education is the first step toward healing from the effects of war, and that the young generation is always capable of making a difference, and can help in rebuilding nations.

What is "Wahat"?

Wahat (Oases) is a youth-led charitable initiative born out as a result of the daily struggle faced by the people of Gaza; students and freelancers alike. It was initiated in response to their struggles and urgent needs, aiming to ease their path and help them overcome the many challenges caused by the blockade, constant power outages, and the fragile educational infrastructure.

What problem are we addressing?

The interruption of university students' education, along with the loss of online jobs and freelance opportunities for young Gazans due to internet and electricity problems.
